Services
Strategy first. Then the work that puts it into practice.
Pickup Studios works with brokerages, MLS organizations, title and transaction companies, proptech firms and the businesses that serve them. Most of our work falls into three kinds of engagement.
A recurring idea in our work is that technology should follow strategy, not lead it. Most organizations we meet don't need more tools or more ideas. They need a clearer picture of where they're going, what deserves attention, and how the pieces of the business fit together.
Assessment & roadmap
The Innovation Blueprint
A structured look at how your organization actually works today, and a clear, executive-ready plan for what to do next. It is usually where an engagement begins.
The Blueprint helps leadership teams:
- Clarify market position and what makes the business distinct
- Identify operational friction, handoffs and work that no longer needs to exist
- Rationalize technology investments and decide what to keep, replace or retire
- Refine the fit between what you offer and who you serve
- Build a 12–24 month innovation roadmap the whole leadership team can stand behind
We start with how decisions and information move through the company, not with software. Technology comes into the conversation once the operating model is clear.
Ongoing partnership
Advisory
A continuing strategic relationship for organizations that want an experienced outside perspective as they make decisions over time.
Advisory work often includes:
- Regular working sessions with leadership on priorities and trade-offs
- Technology, vendor and AI decisions, evaluated against strategy rather than feature lists
- Product thinking inside the organization, so someone is looking across departments instead of within one
- Fractional marketing and innovation leadership where a full-time hire doesn't make sense yet
- A sounding board for positioning, growth and organizational design questions
Execution & implementation
Managed Services
Hands-on work to put a strategy into practice, delivered by the same people who helped shape it.
Depending on the plan, that can include:
- Brand, positioning and website work
- Marketing programs and campaigns
- CRM and marketing automation implementation, including HubSpot
- AI workflows and internal tools built around your processes and policies
- Operational improvements that remove steps rather than add them

How it usually starts
A conversation, then a Blueprint.
Most engagements begin with a simple question: what prompted you to reach out now? From there, the Innovation Blueprint gives both of us a shared picture of the business. Some organizations take the roadmap and run with it. Others continue with Advisory, Managed Services, or both.
“Not only does the Pickup team intimately know the real estate industry, they have the unique ability to identify your problem, create a strategy to solve it and then apply customized technology to the solution.”

If you're weighing strategic direction, technology decisions or how your organization should be designed, we'd be glad to talk it through.
